What is an ACL?

ACL stands for AssureCard Library.  As the name implies, tje ACL is a library of AssureCards (ACs).  An individual AC pertains to a single auditor question.  Without the ACL, there is no Compliance Builder application.  The ACs drive all of the compliance information.

As I mentioned briefly, each card pertains to a single auditor question.  With Compliance Builder - PRO, we cover 4400+ probable auditor questions.  Simply, you look up an actual auditor question and the application displays an Assure Card. Each AssureCard contains the following information.

Control Domain Abbreviation: (e.g., ACC, CLD, BRM...)

Auditor Question: This section contains the question related to the card topic.

Best Practice: This field provides a best practice answer to the question and can be edited within the application.

Evidence: This section includes 4 to 5 recommendations for evidence to support the question and answer set. It can be translated into actual DED documents and is editable to point directly to your evidence.

Framework: This field lists 3 to 5 regulatory frameworks that are mapped to the question and answer set.

In addition to the aforementioned fields, all cards can be printed individually or as part of a queued set. Users can mark cards as "Queued" for bulk printing or for downloading ACs to email to an auditor. The entire ACL is integrated into the application. Customers receive free ACL updates every two months for one year. After one year, customers have the option to purchase ACL updates or join a membership program to ensure that the ACL remains up-to-date.
